Harry Skoler est professeur de bois au Berklee College of Music.
Il a obtenu une licence de musique au Berklee College of Music et une maîtrise de musique au New England Conservatory, où il a étudié avec Jimmy Giuffre.
L'enregistrement de Harry, Living In Sound (2022) : The Music of Charles Mingus, paru chez Sunnyside Records, réunit Christian McBride, Kenny Barron, Johnathan Blake, Nicholas Payton et Jazzmeia Horn dans un hommage à la musique de Charles Mingus, avec des arrangements d'Ambrose Akinmusire, Darcy James Argue et Fabian Almazan.
